Cronut in Surabaya

Since everyone has been addicted with cronut which has been invented by Dominique Ansel in New York, no doubt that Indonesia is also affected.

The only bakery shop in Surabaya that sells cronut is Harvest Cake. I am also planning to make by myself but the curiosity of the taste of cronut led me to buy from Harvest Cake this Wednesday.

So, I went to Harvest Cake with my sister and taaa daa, we finally got the one with cinnamon sugar flavor..

Actually, cronut there is available in 3 different flavours; cinnamon sugar, chocolate, and vanilla. Because it is the five stars bakery shop in my town, those are sold in quite expensive price. Each is sold IDR 25,000.

One thing that make the cronut so special in my opinion is the layer from croissant. It is totally different from normal dougnut. 

When I cut off the cronut, I could see the layers which also make the cronut slightly higher than usual dougnut. The price was paid off by the taste and the cinnamon sugar made the cronut even more delicious. 

Next time, I am going to make the cronut and hopefully I can make the layer successfully. ^^
